Dapur Migha : Basung Ampap ?!

Hi. Welcome back to anybody who reads as if anyone do read. Lol.

The other day my mom asked to cook “ikan basung” or known as ikan selayang kot di negeri lain. Tidak sah la bah kalau ikan basungan ndak kena ampap. Walaupun bukan step by step or actual ampap, who cares as long as its delicious. Excuse my rojak entry writing, lets move on to how to how to.

The way I cook my basung ampap is ...
1. Siang 1kg of basung.
2. Now get a pot and put em in there with 4 cup of water.
3. 1tbsp salt (and few pinch secukup rasa)
4. 1tbsp tumeric powder (ada yg fresh lagi cun)
5. Asam aloi (idk alui² siurang panggil hahaha)
6. Bunga kantan 2 (belah 4 skali)
7. Mix em all and simmer sampai masak


Pergh kalau kena baca oleh chef² ni kompem kena kecam akibat pengunaan bahasa yg bercampur macam rojak. Hasil daripada eksperimen ni, rasa dia sangat masam dan wangi bunga kantan which also almost kill the fish's taste haha nda ba. Try la sekali sekala. Asam aloi tu boleh kali ubah pakai asam keping.

Next dish will be sayur pakis. But ni ramai sudah pun yg tau masak. All you need is sayur paku pakis, bawang, garam, minyak, siap. Yg suka pedas tu boleh simpan cili padi as I do here. Tumis mcm sayur lain juga. Kalau mau sedap banyak, boleh la campur belacan. Lagi la umph haha tapi kalau yg ada allergies tu jangan mengada pula.


Acar mangga ni pun resepi hantam campak apa yg ada jaa sebenarnya uolls. Since ada bunga kantan, I mix those mangga muda dengan hirisan bawang merah and cili padi. Sprinkle some salt, sugar and msg and done. Bole lah utk kecur kan air liur hahaha. Mau lagi pedas, tambah lagi cili.
